The purpose of this meeting was to gather inputs from specialists on a range of specific themes relating to the reform of the global financial architecture, notably: Improving the global debt architecture; Improving fairness in decision-making in the IFIs (notably, by extending double/triple majority voting to the IMF/WB); Repurposing the IFIs to invest in Global Public Goods; Reviewing the use of conditionality and de-risking practices; Improving the global tax architecture.
