Expert Preparatory Roundtable: Nuclear Weapons

This expert discussion supported HLAB’s development of recommendations in the areas of nuclear disarmament, non-proliferation, and reducing the risks of nuclear weapons use. Its principal goal was to vet potential proposals, allow the HLAB members to request expert opinion on a range of ideas, and ultimately provide the Board with a set of recommendations that could be incorporated into its report. UNU-CPR provided a short background paper with some options, along with a reading packet for deeper reading ahead of the discussion.
